The eCom Dave Amazon FBA Coaching Program is an online course that promises to teach you how to build a profitable business selling products on Amazon. According to its marketing and website, students can expect to “earn money selling on Amazon” through one-on-one mentorship, supplier guidance, and product launch strategies.

However, after enrolling and completing the program, my personal experience did not align with those claims.

Experience

Invested $4,000 in this course and followed it for about four months, but unfortunately ended up losing both time and money.
While the lessons sound motivational, they focus heavily on revenue numbers instead of real net profit — leaving out key details about the many hidden costs involved in running an Amazon FBA business.

For example:

  • Revenue refers to your total sales, not your actual earnings.

  • Net income (what you truly make) comes after deducting expenses such as shipping, Amazon fees, samples, inspections, barcodes, advertising, and more.

When you calculate all these costs, the actual income can be far lower than what the marketing examples suggest.
